Seaside Inspired specializes in providing you home accessories inspired by the sea.  

SeasideInspired.com began offering our products and services online in 2006.    

We are a small, boutique company that focuses on one specialized design style.  Each of our accessories and furnishings are designed or hand selected by interior designers to bring you a professional, modern interpretation of the sea.  Our products are inspected and packaged by hand, rather than machine, to assure the highest quality and minimize shipping errors.  Emails and every step of the order processing from packing slip preparation to shipping confirmations are conducted in-house by Seaside Inspired employees for personalized service.  These services are not automated and rather are reviewed, created and prepared by a real person. 

In the short time we have been operating our online boutique and services we have received recognition from magazines, television and design blogs.  Modern Bride has included our products in their “100 Things We Love”; we were voted “Top 100 Website” by Modern Bride and have been featured in numerous Coastal Living magazine issues and at CoastalLiving.com.  We have had the pleasure and privilege of serving many celebrity clients and national public figures.  

In 2008 we began our Random Acts of Kindness program.  This program is not publicized or advertised and you will never know when or where an act of kindness will occur or what the act may be.  It could be in an email or a package at your front door.  It’s random, it’s kind and it’s a nice unexpected surprise. 

During 2009 we focused on our eco-friendly practices and products. Our natural seashell and sealife are repurposed, rather than harvested for the intent purpose of resale.  Our coral pieces are resin replicas, rather than real coral. We package our shipments with bio-degradable packing peanuts and un-printed newsprint.  Our peanuts are made of natural vegetable starch which quickly dissolves upon contact with water.  You may place the peanuts in your compost pile or wash them down the sink. We also began shipping our orders using overrun and recycled boxes.  Use of these boxes reduces the demand on manufacturing facilities thus eliminating the green house gases emitted during the production process.  Use of these boxes also reduces the amount of raw materials extracted from the Earth and helps to save our forests.   

In 2010, we introduced the VIP (Very Inspired Person) loyalty discount program; the Design Trade Program and have expanded our design experiences and products to Facebook and Twitter.  We also launched our design blog featuring design dilemmas, product reviews; design ideas and exclusive offers all relating to beach décor and coastal living.
